Welcome to Future at Work, a marketing and communications company that specialises in the development and execution of workplace brands. Future at Work is one of a handful of companies in Australia that focuses on the Employer Value Proposition, and the entire breadth of employee engagement initiatives that organisations need to embrace if they truly want to become employers of choice.
What makes Future at Work different is that we understand how to build compelling engaging brands. We are marketing and brand professionals, not just experienced Human Resources professionals who then turn their hand to marketing and brand development. Marketing and brand development is a science that requires years of experience and research – at Future at Work, our people are all seasoned professionals who have been responsible for building some of Australia’s best known brands.
We saw an opportunity to translate the expertise we have developed over years of working with some of the biggest, most complex brands and apply those learnings to the building of more engaging internal brands.
So much of the work we see around employee engagement focuses on the negatives. What we are doing wrong and where we need to improve. At the core of what we believe in at Future at Work, is that all organisations have outstanding characteristics, which if found, languaged and brought to life can drive greater levels of engagement in the business and make it far more attractive to the right kind of talent outside the business. This is the art and science of Employer Branding.
Our job, in partnership with you, is to find what is great and determine how to spread the word, both internally and externally. It is unashamedly positive, but not in a Pollyanna kind of way. It is about finding ideas, stories and messages that bring to life the right employment promise / value proposition that not only supports the business model and existing culture, but will attract the right thinking, levels of engagement and talent that will create the results and culture the business desires in the future.
At Future at Work, we do not see Employer Branding as being a sexy form of recruitment advertising either. Sure, advertising is part of it, but the right stories and promises come first. Some of the most powerful employer brands are ideas that are never ‘screamed from the rooftops’ but rather ‘whispered through the streets’.
Knowing what, when and how to spread the word can only work if we get the promise right in the first place.
Future at Work has a range of tools and processes to help organisations of all sizes work through their employer branding requirements, from employee research and satisfaction surveys, to development of internal collateral – from web site design and implementation to recruitment advertising and PR.
So consult a marketing and branding specialist for your employer branding needs, and give us a call at Future at Work.
